Manchester Show Choir
Manchester Show Choir, the regions newest and most prestigious choir, run weekly rehearsals lead by industry professionals. Members of MSC have regular opportunities to perform alongside celebrity vocalists at major venues across the UK. Since September MSC have already performed at The Trafford Centre, The Printworks, at the Manchester Christmas lights switch on in front of 20,000 people and alongside Alexandra Burke, and in their own concert 'Christmas for Christies' at the RNCM. On boxing day MSC performed on the pitch at the City of Manchester Stadium in front of 47,500 fans during half time at the Man City football match. Most recently MSC performed at The Lowry alongside an all star celebrity cast in 'Does Your Mother Know' a Mothers Day spectacular that raised thousands of pounds for The Christie. MSC have recently made their TV debut and were filmed for a brand new Bernard Matthews Advert. MSC have recently filmed 4 episodes of Coronation Street and have performed on BBC Radio 5.
In July 2010, MSC appeared live on National Television in Channel 5's 'Don't Stop Believing', performing to over 2million viewers! MSC were voted by the public into the sing off. Thank you to all of our supporters who phoned in!
From football stadiums to touring theatres, as a member of MSC you will have many opportunities to shine. Performing songs from all genres including pop, gospel and musical theatre, MSC have a diverse repertoire to be enjoyed by all.

Committed to Christie's
Manchester Show Choir has chosen Christie's as our partner charity for the next 18 months. We are committed to raising over £100,000 for this cause. Money raised will go towards The Christie’s £35 million new patient treatment centre. The iconic new development will be home to the largest early clinical trials unit in the world, an expanded chemotherapy department and a new private patients unit.
To date, MSC have raised over £15,000 for The Christie.
All MSC public performances will be in aid of Christie's.

HOT OFF THE PRESS...
MSC voted in to sing-off on Channel 5's Don't Stop Believing!
That's right folks, MSC beat off stiff competition from over 3000 other acts and appeared in the opening episode of new TV Talent Show 'Dont Stop Believing'. The show was hosted by Emma Bunton and judges included Duncan James, Tamsin Outhwaite and Anastasia. After a controversial criticism from the judges, the public loved us and we were voted into the sing-off. We were also selected by the producers of the show to open the series with the song 'I Gotta Feeling'.
MSC to appear on Coronation Street!
MSC have recently filmed four episodes of coronation street with further filming dates in the pipeline! They will be featured as the local Weatherfield choir and will also be singing at the biggest soap wedding of the year on August bank-holiday weekend. We can't tell you any more than that at present but watch this space for more details! We are live on TV throughout August!
MSC hand over £15,000 to The Christie!
On Saturday 3rd July, MSC performed in their own concert at Manchester's Palace Theatre. At the end of the performance they handed over £15,000 for The Christie Hospital. This is our current total for all fundraising activities in our first year!
