Manchester Show Choir

Manchester Show Choir, the regions newest and most prestigious choir, run weekly rehearsals lead by industry professionals. Members of MSC have regular opportunities to perform alongside celebrity vocalists at major venues across the UK. Since September MSC have already performed at The Trafford Centre, The Printworks, at the Manchester Christmas lights switch on in front of 20,000 people and alongside Alexandra Burke, and in their own concert 'Christmas for Christies' at the RNCM. On boxing day MSC performed on the pitch at the City of Manchester Stadium in front of 47,500 fans during half time at the Man City football match. From football stadiums to touring theatres, as a member of MSC you will have many opportunities to shine.

Performing songs from all genres including pop, gospel and musical theatre, MSC have a diverse repertoire to be enjoyed by all.

Committed to Christie's

Manchester Show Choir has chosen Christie's as our partner charity for the next 18 months. We are committed to raising over £100,000 for this cause. Money raised will go towards The Christie’s £35 million new patient treatment centre. The iconic new development will be home to the largest early clinical trials unit in the world, an expanded chemotherapy department and a new private patients unit.

In December 2009, MSC made a fantastic start to their campaign by raising over £8,000 through their festive public performance's.

All MSC public performances will be in aid of Christie's.

MSC Perform with Alexandra Burke
On Thursday 12th November 2009, MSC performed live for the first time in front of over 20,000 people at the Manchester Christmas lights switch on. Performing alongside Alexandra Burke, Mr Hudson and Aled Jones to name a few, this was a great start to our winter concert series.

MSC perform with Jon Christos at the RNCM
On Saturday 19th December 2009, MSC performed their first ever ticketed concert at The Royal Northern College of Music. Performing with a live orchestra and alongside guest soloists including Jon Christos, Jenny Williams and Dave Hunter, this concert was a huge success.

MSC perform across the region
Throughout December, MSC have performed across Greater Manchester to raise money for The Christie. Performing at The Trafford Centre, The Printworks and Victoria Station has allowed us to raise thousands of pounds for this wonderful cause.
MSC Perform at The City of Manchester Stadium
On Boxing Day, MSC performed on the pitch at half time at The City of Manchester Stadium, in front of over 47,500 football fans. They performed Take That's 'Rule The World' and City anthem 'Blue Moon'. They were joined by guest soloist Dave Hunter. Another great experience for the choir. MSC will return to the stadium in the new year.
